NSEASI drops further, settles 0.13% lower, Monday

The Nigerian Bourse on Monday extends decline from the previous trading session as the All Share Index declines 0.13% to close at 35,399.28 points against 35,449.49 points of the last trading session.

Market capitalization dipped by 0.13% to settle at N12.924 trillion against N12.941 trillion recorded on Friday, indicating a loss of N17 billion.

Volume of traded stocks dropped by 16.87% while the value appreciated by 8.95%, standing at 160 million units and N2.2 billion respectively.

Market Breadth

14 stocks closed positive against 26 that closed negative, bringing the market breadth to a negative round off.

Percentage Gainers

Eterna Oil led other percentage gainers closing 9.92% above the previous close of N6.55 to settle at N7.20

UACN grew 7.69%, COURTVILLE and CAVERTON gained 5.00% and 4.74% of their share prices ahead of other 10 stocks on the gainers’ chart

Percentage Losers

 

Mutual Benefits and Union Diagnostics top the losers’ chart, after losing 9.09% each of their share prices. Also on the red chart are Livestock, Wema Bank, Japaul Oil, Secure Electronic and OANDO all shedding above 5% of their share prices for the day.

Volume Drivers

UBA traded the highest volume of about 30.5 million units of its shares in 128 deals, valued at about N288 Million

Guaranty traded about 13 million units of its shares in 245 deals, worth about N536 million.
