Nigerian Bourse closes 0.24% lower, Thursday

The Nigerian Equities Market on Thursday dips further by 0.24% as the All Share Index sheds 70.16 points  to settle at 28,896.25 points from the the previous close of 28,966.41 points on Wednesday.

Market capitalisation closed at N10.860 trillion, shedding N27 billion from the previous close of N10.887 trillion on Wednesday.

Aggregate volume of traded stocks for the day was 215 million units, value at N2.05 billion in 5,646 deals.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed negative as 8 stocks gained while 19 stocks lost.

Percentage Gainers

Veritas Kapital with 10% growth tops the gainers’ list to close at N0.22 to close at N0.20.

Mansard and FCMB among other gainers also grew their share prices by 5.41% and 5.0% respectively.

Percentage Losers

Japaul Oil, Caverton and Neimeth among others on the decliners’ list shed 10%, 9.96% and 9.84% of their share prices respectively.

Volume Drivers

Zenith Bank traded about 28.61million units of its shares in 572 deals, valued at N576.45 million.
