Dangote Cement Plc in its half year unaudited financial report for the period ended June 30, 2020 recorded a profit after tax (PAT) of N126 billion, implying a growth of 5.79% when compared with N119 billion recorded in the previous year of 2019.
The Turnover for the current period stands at N476.85 billion, up by 1.95% against the previous turnover of N467.730 billion recorded in half year 2019.
Profit before tax grew by 4.74%, to settle at N162.85 billion from the previous close of N155.49 billion in 2019.
Earnings per share for the period under review grew to N7.40 from the previous earnings per share of N7.00 in half year 2019.
With reference to the share price of N134.20, the P.E ratio of Dangote Cement stands at 18.13x with earnings yield of 5.52%.
