Cutix Plc led 15 other stocks, despite market decline of 0.70%, Tuesday

Trading activities on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed lower on Tuesday, as the All Share Index declined 0.70% closing at 36,455.24 points as against the previous close of 36,711.96 points.

Market capitalisation also declined by 0.70% closing at N13.206 trillion, as against N13.299 trillion of the previous trading session.

 

Volume and value of traded stocks appreciated by 67.36% and 100.10%, closing at 378.7 million units and N4.42 billion respectively.

Market Breadth

16 stocks closed positive while 29 stocks lost, bringing the market breadth to a negative round off.

Percentage Gainers

Cutix Plc led other price percentage gainers closing 9.68% above the previous close of N3.3 to settle at N3.63
Custodian Investment Plc. grew 9.91% and Wapic grew 4.76% ahead other stocks on the gainers’ chart.

Percentage Losers

WAPCO and Beta Glass both shed 10% of their share prices, leading the losers’ chart. Presco, PZ, FCMB among others on the losers’ chart also shed 9.98%, 9.82% and 9.5% respectively.

Volume Drivers

The most actively traded stock is Zenith Bank, trading about 42.7 million units of it shares in 438 deals, worth about N988.5million.
