Nigerian Bourse dips further, closes 0.31% lower, Friday

Trading activities on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Friday closed in red as the All Share Index drops further by 0.31% to close at 30,432.13 points against the previous close of 30,527.07 points on Thursday.

Market capitalisation closed at N13.402 trillion, shedding N42 billion from the previous close of N13.444 trillion.

Aggregate volume of traded stocks closed at 305.56 million units, valued at N3.9bn in 3,754 deals.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed negative as 10 stocks gained while 23 stocks declined in their share prices.

Percentage Gainers

Cutix Plc and NPF Microfinance Bank both led other gainers with 6.67% growth to close at N1.60 and N1.44 respectively.

Chams Plc, Wema Bank and LASACO Assurance among others also grew their share prices by 5.88%, 3.33% and 3.23% respectively.

Percentage Losers

PZ, University Press and Consolidated Hallmark Insurance among other price decliners shed their share prices by 9.82%, 9.55% and 9.09% respectively.

Volume Drivers

Guaranty Trust Bank traded about 29.75 million units of its share price in 313 deals, valued at N907.78 million.
