The Nigerian stock market on Monday advanced marginally as the All Share Index grew by 0.06%, closing at 103,648.24 points from the previous close of 103,586.33 points.
Investors gained N37 billion as the Market Capitalisation appreciated by 0.06% to close at N63.203 trillion from the previous close of N63.166 trillion.
An aggregate of 856 million units of shares were traded in 16,505 deals, valued at N13 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 48 equities emerged as gainers against 19 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
DAAR COMUNICATION and Wema Bank led other gainers with 10.00% growth, each to close at N0.77 and N11.00 from the previous close of N00.70 and N10.00 respectively.
Honeywell Flour, WAPIC and LASACO among other gainers also grew their share prices by over 9.99%, 9.96% and 9.95% respectively.
Percentage Losers
CUTIX led other price decliners as it sheds 5.45% of its share price to close at N2.60 from the previous close of N2.75.
CAVERTON and Jaiz Bank among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 5.36% and 5.23% respectively.
Volume Drivers
CHAMS traded about 81 million units of its shares in 504 deals, valued at about N191 million.
VERITAS KAPITAL traded about 60 million units of its shares in 410 deals, valued at about N106 million.
ACCESSSCORP traded about 54 million units of its shares in 807 deals, valued at N1.3 billion.
