Q3 2021: Nigerian Breweries declares 40 kobo interim dividend to shareholders

Nigerian Breweries in its published third quarter report for the period ended 30 September 2021 declared an interim dividend of 40 kobo to its shareholders.

A turnover of N309.28 billion was reported for the nine months period, up by 32.15% from N234.04 billion reported the previous year.

Profit after grew by 18.40% to N8.22 billion from N6.94 billion reported in Q3 2020.

Earnings per share increased to N1.03 from the EPS of N0.87, this translates to 18.40% growth year on year.

At the share price of N54.25, the PE ratio of Nigerian Breweries stands at 52.8x with earnings yield of 1.89%.

An interim dividend of 40 kobo per ordinary share of 50 kobo each was declared to shareholders, subject to the deduction of the appropriate withholding tax.

Qualification date is on 19th November, 2021.

Closure of Register is from Monday the 22nd of November, 2021 to Friday the 26th of November, 2021 (both dates inclusive).

On 3rd December, 2021, interim dividends will be paid electronically to Shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at close of business on the 19th of November, 2021 and who have completed the e-dividend registration mandating the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their bank accounts.
