NSEASI Dips further, Shedding N44bn from Capitalization, Thursday

The Nigerian Bourse on Thursday extended its loss run in an all red session as the All Share Index declined by 0.39% to close at 29,553.12 points as against 29,668.73 points of the last trading session.

Market capitalization Sheds N44bn to close the day at N11.100 trillion below N11.144 trillion it closed on Wednesday.

Volume and Value of traded stocks also fell by 8.02% and 48.89% to settle at 499 million units and N2.8 billion away from Wednesday’s 542 million units and N5.6 billion respectively.

 

Market Breadth

11 stocks closed positive against 19 that lost bringing the market breadth to a negative round off.

Percentage Gainers

CHAMS Plc led other percentage gainers closing 10.00% above the previous close of N0.20 to settle at N0.22

Forte Oil grew 9.82%, Vita Foam and Cornerstone Insurance grew 7.84% and 4.76% ahead the other stocks in green.

Percentage Losers

CAP Plc tops the losers’ chart losing 9.89% of its share price, while Unity Bank, Eterna Oil and Regency Assurance shed 9.30%, 8.05% and 8.00% respectively.

 

Volume Driver

FBNH traded about 55 million units of its shares in 363 deals, worth about N407 million
