Nigerian Bourse sustains rally, up by 0.44% with Okomu Oil leading the Gainers

The Nigerian equities market on Friday closed higher buoyed by gains in 14 stocks led by Okomu Oil as the All Share Index closed at 0.44% to stand at 26,991.42 points against the previous close of 26,872.609 points on Thursday.

The market capitalisation closed at N13.027 trillion, growing by N57 billion from the previous close of N12.970 trillion

Aggregate volume closed at 207 million units, valued at N2.8 billion in 3,630 deals.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed negative as 14 stocks gained against 18 that declined in their share prices.

Percentage Gainers

Okomu Oil with 10.00% growth led other gainers to close at N55.00 from the previous close of N50.00.

NEIMETH and Ikeja Hotel among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.80% and 9.65% respectively.

Percentage Losers

Jaiz Bank, COURTVILLE and LASACO among others shed their share prices by not less than 8.00% at the close of trade today.

Volume Drivers

Zenith Bank traded about 26 million units of its shares in 425 deals, valued at N487 million.
