Nigerian Bourse closes 0.12% higher as ETRANZACT leads 20 other gainers

The Nigerian stock market on Friday closed higher buoyed by gains in 21 stocks led by E-TRANZACT INTERNATIONAL Plc. The All Share Index grew by 0.12% to close at 47,328.42 points from the previous close of 47,272.04 points on Thursday.

The market capitalisation closed at N25.507 trillion, up by 0.12% from the previous close of N25.477 trillion.

Aggregate volume of trade stands at 253.3 million units, valued at N2.75 billion in 4,266 deals.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed positive as 21 stocks gained against 17 stocks that declined in their share prices.

Percentage Gainers

ETRANZACT with 9.92% growth, led other gainers to close at N2.66 from the previous close of N2.42.

Royal Exchange and RTBRISCOE among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.65% and 9.30% respectively ahead of other 18 stocks on the gainers’ table.

Percentage Losers

CUTIX, NEM Insurance and Veritas Kapital among others 14 stocks shed their share prices by 8.47%, 5.00% and 4.35% respectively.

Volume Drivers

FCMB traded about 50 million units of its shares in 41 deals, valued at N152.9 million.

UBA traded about 19 million units of its shares in 155 deals, valued at N167.7 million.

FBNH traded about 17.7 million units of its shares in 161 deals, valued at N205 million.
