The Nigerian equities market on Tuesday closed in red as the All Share Index dropped by 0.61% to close at 27,407.04 points against the previous close of 27,574.32 points on Monday.
Market Capitalisation closed at N13.342 trillion, shedding N81 billion from the previous close of N13.423 trillion.
Aggregate volume of traded stocks closed at 198.03 million units, valued at N2.9 billion in 3,830 deals.
Market Breadth
Market Breadth closed positive as 22 stocks gained while 15 declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
NEM Insurance Plc led other gainers with 9.74% growth to close at N2.14 from the previous close of N1.95.
Livestock Feeds, PZ and Cornerstone Insurance among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.52%, 9.32% and 9.09% respectively.
Percentage Losers
Airtel Africa led the decliners list, shedding 10% of its share price to close at N283.5 from the previous close of N315.
UAC Properties and NCR Nigeria Plc among others also shed their share prices by 9.55% and 9.09% respectively.
Volume Drivers
Access Bank traded about 57.8 million units of its shares in 493 deals, valued at N434.2 million.
