Mobil, UACN led 27 other gainers despite market decline of 0.09%, Friday

The Nigerian Bourse on Friday closed in red as the All Share Index declined by 0.09% to close at 30,773.64 points against the previous close of 30,802.90 points on Thursday.

Market capitalisation declined by 0.09% to close at N11.241 trillion against the previous close of N11.251 trillion, shedding N10 bn.

Volume and Value of traded stocks declined by 64.55% and 10.36% to close at 193.54 million units and N3.67 billion respectively.

 

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed positive as 29 stocks gained against 14 stocks that lost

Percentage Gainers

Mobil also known as 11 Plc and UACN with 10% growth led other percentage gainers to close at N184.8 and N11 respectively.

NEM Insurance, Neimeth, Forte Oil, Diamond Bank and Unity Bank grew by 9.88%, 9.72%, 9.63%, 9.49% and 9.09% respectively among others on the gainers’ chart.

Percentage Losers

Veritas Kapital shed 8% of its share price to close at N0.23 from the previous close of N0.25. This is followed by LASACO, shedding 6.25% of its share price among other stocks on the losers’ chart.

Volume Drivers

Guaranty Trust Bank traded about 29.76 million units of its shares in 303 deals, valued at about N1.01 billion.
