May & Baker posts N2.7bn as turnover in Q1 2021

The first quarter report of May & Baker Nigeria Plc for the period ended 31 March 2021 shows that the firm improved on its topline and bottom line figures, compared to the figures reported in Q1 2020.

May & Baker reported a turnover of N2.703 billion, up by 47.76% from N1.829 billion, reported in Q1 2020.

Profit after tax in Q1 2021 grew by 478% to N247.372 million from 42.798 million reported in Q1 2020.

Earnings per share increased to 14 kobo from the EPS of 2 kobo achieved in Q1 2020.

At the share price of N4.2, the P.E ratio of May & Baker stands at 29.29x with earnings yield of 3.41%.
