The half year financial report of Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc for the period ended 30th June 2020, released on 28th of July, 2020, revealed that the gross earnings of the firm fell by 2.65% to N3.230bn when compared with N3.318bn recorded same period last year.
Law Union Insurance ended the cumulated quarter two result of 2020 with a profit after tax of N185.8mn in contrast to N102.7mn recorded same period in the preceding year of 2019. This translates a significant growth of about 80.9%.
The company’s earnings per share inched by over 80.89% to stand at 4kobo from 2kobo reported last same period.
Its PE Ratio stands at 24.05x at a reference price of N1.04 with earnings yield of 4.16%.
