Nigeria will begin to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to its citizens on Friday after a launch that would take place at the National Hospital, Abuja.
This was disclosed by Dr Faisal Shuaib, Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA)
According to a reliable source, the Federal Government would on Monday in distribute the vaccine to states as measures are already in place as regards the database of health workers.
President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo would be vaccinated on Saturday.
