Market Capitalisation declined by 1.27% to close at N12.531 trillion from the previous close of N12.692 trillion, thereby shedding N161 billion.
Aggregate volume of 208.59 million units of shares were in 4,320 deals, valued at N2.19 billion.
Market Breadth
The market breadth closed negative as 15 equities appreciated in their share prices while 17 equities declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
Fidson Healthcare Plc led other percentage gainers with 7.83% growth, closing at N2.48 from the previous close of N2.30.
Custodian Investments, Nigerian Breweries and Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals among other gainers also grew their share prices by7.69%, 7.45% and 6.67% respectively.
Percentage Losers
UAC Properties led other price decliners, shedding 8.00% of its share price to close at N0.92 from the previous close of N1.00.
University Press and MTN Nigeria among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 7.14 and 6.67% respectively.
