Continental Reinsurance led other 19 Stocks in an all Red session, Wednesday

The Nigerian Bourse on Wednesday fell further from the previous trading session as the All Share Index declines 0.58% to close at 36,748.18 points against 36,963.70 points of the last trading session.

Market capitalization dropped by 0.58% also to settle at N13.312 trillion against N13.390 trillion of the last trading indicating a loss of N78 billion.

Volume and value of traded stocks dropped by 11.05% and 31.29%% to settle at 181.2 million units and N1.6 billion respectively.

 

Market Breadth

20 stocks closed positive against 23 that closed negative, bringing the market breadth to a negative round off.

Percentage Gainers

Continental Reinsurance led other percentage gainers closing 10.00% above the previous close of N1.50 to settle at N1.65

PZ Cussons Nig. PLC grew 9.74%, International Breweries and japaul Oil gained 9.33% and 9.09% of their share prices ahead of other stocks on the gainers’ chart

Percentage Losers

 

FBNH tops the losers’ chart losing 9.76% of its share price, while Oando and Wema Bank shed 9.52% and 8.82% respectively.

Volume Drivers

Zenith Bank traded about 15 million units of its shares in 322 deals, worth about N361 million.
