Caverton, Champion Breweries led other percentage gainers, despite NSEASI decline of 0.30%, Wednesday

The Nigerian Bourse on Wednesday extends decline from the previous trading session as the All Share Index drops 0.30% to close at 36,346.80 points from the previous close of 36,455.24 points on Tuesday.

Market capitalisation closed at N13.167 trillion declining by 0.30% from the previous close of N13.206 trillion, shedding about N39 billion.

Volume and value of traded stocks dropped by 12.89% and 17.46%, closing at 329.9 million units and N3.65 billion respectively.

Market Breadth

15 stocks closed positive while 29 stocks lost, bringing the market breadth to a negative round off.

Percentage Gainers

Caverton and Champion Breweries both led other price percentage gainers, gaining 10% each. Both coincidentally closed at N2.09 from the previous close of N1.9

Cutix Plc, Fidelity bank and Beta Glass gained 9.92%, 9.88% and 7% respectively ahead others on the gainers’ chart.

Percentage Losers

Livestock Feeds tops the loser’s chart losing 10% of its share price.

Japaul Oil shed 9.68% while Mutual Benefit and Royal Exchange Assurance both shed 9.09% of their share prices.

Volume Drivers

FBNH traded about 88.1 million units of it shares in 269 deals, worth about N820million.
