The market capitalisation closed at N12.975 trillion, shedding N74 billion from the previous close of N13.049 trillion.
Aggregate volume of traded stocks closed at 209.97 million units, valued at N3.1 billion in 4,081 deals.
Market Breadth
The market breadth closed firm as 17 stocks gained while 17 stocks declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
Regency Alliance Insurance and Sovereign Trust Insurance led other gainers with 10% growth to close at N0.22 respectively.
Neimeth, Jaiz Bank and LASACO among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.84%, 8.70% and 8.00% respectively.
Percentage Losers
AIICO Insurance Plc, Unilever and Transcorp among other decliners shed their share prices by 9.09%, 6.59% and 6.42% respectively.
Volume Drivers
Zenith Bank traded about 24.1 million units of its shares in 480 deals, valued at N446.97 million.
