NSEASI marginally drops 0.01% further, as FBNH sits at the apex of the most patronised stocks, Thursday

The Nigerian Bourse, Thursday narrowly declined for the second consecutive time this week shedding 0.01% from the previous session as All Share Index declines 0.01% to close at 40,752.83 points as against 40,775.73 points of the last trading session.

As a result, investors lost about N1 billion as market capitalisation drops marginally to N14.721 trillion as against 14.722 trillion of the last trading session.

Other trading activities for the day went north as volume and value traded appreciated by 7.75% and 35.99% to settle at 378.187 million and 6.261 billion respectively.
Market Breadth
13 stocks closed positive against 27 that lost bringing the market breadth to a negative round off.

Percentage Gainers

Oando led percentage gainers closing 5.17% above the previous close of N8.70, to settle at N9.15, Okomuoil grew 4.97% and C&I Leasing grew 4.72% ahead of stocks like Champion, Maybaker and Unilever.

Percentage Losers

NPF Microfinance Bank tops the losers’ chart losing 8.91% of its share price, while Jaiz Bank and Transcorp both shed 8.00% and 5.00% respectively.

Today, FBNH emerged the most actively traded stock, trading 42.760 million units of its shares in 548 deals, worth about N515.100 Million.
