Fidelity Bank grew post tax profit by 23.99%, declares 20 kobo dividend to shareholders

Fidelity Bank Plc on Monday released its audited financial report for the period ended, 31 December, 2019. The financial institution reported a gross earnings of N215.5 billion, up by 14.03% when compared the N189 billion reported in 2018.

Profit before tax grew to N30.35 billion from N25.089 billion reported in 2018, implying a growth of 20.98%.

The firm made a profit after tax of N28.43 billion, up by 23.99% when compared to the profit after tax of N22.93 billion in 2018.

The earnings per share (EPS) of Fidelity Bank stands at 98 kobo, up by 23.99% from the previous EPS of 79 kobo.

With the reference share price of N1.69, the P.E ratio of Fidelity Bank stands at 1.72x with earnings yield of 57.99%.

The bank declared a final dividend of 20 kobo to shareholders, subject to appropriate withholding tax and approval. The qualification date is April 17.

Closure of register is from April 20 to April 24, and payment date is on 30th of April 2020.
