United Bank for Africa Plc recently rewarded 10 of its loyal customers with N1m each in the quarterly draws of its ongoing Savings Promo.

The promo, which held virtually, is to appreciate the bank’s loyal customers.

The Head, Personal Banking, UBA, Osita Ede, who addressed the participants before the draws, said there was no better time to give back to customers than during the coronavirus times when people needed all the support they could get.

“UBA has been rewarding its customers for several years now. From the Wise Savers Promo to the Bumper Draws, and now the Savings Promo. We have been doing this to touch lives and to show appreciation to our customers. This is also an opportunity to reward them for their loyalty to the bank,” he said.

Ede added that the promo was also a way of encouraging savings in a bid towards promoting financial inclusion, as statistics showed that a lot of Nigerians were still largely underbanked.

“We are here to support our customers and encourage them to save and ultimately grow as well because we are aware that they are invaluable to all that we do,” he said.

The winners, who cut across all the zones of the country, are Emeka Onyemauche, Ezeigbokwe Purity, Omoniyi Jaiyeola, Olawale Idowu, Zaharadeen Umar, Aliyu Bakari, Samuel Esua, Joseph Eze, Deborah Adebayo, and Lucia Adim.
