Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp) on Thursday declared an interim dividend of 10 koo to its shareholders for the period ended 30 June 2024.
The Group reported revenue of N175.427 billion for the 6 months period, up by 113.61% from N82.124 billion reported the previous year.
Profit after tax grew year on year by 227.79% to N52.788 billion from N16.104 billion.
Earnings per share of the Group stands at N1.30.
At the share price of N11.7, the P/E ratio of Transcorp stands at 9.01x with earnings yield of 11.10%.
The qualification date for the interim dividend is Wednesday, August 7, 2024.
The Register of Shareholders will be closed from Thursday, August 8, 2024, to Wednesday, August 14, 2024 (both dates inclusive).
On Monday, August 19, 2024, dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at August 7, 2024 and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
