Stock market sustains rally, grew by 0.06 percent, Monday.

It was all green on the floor of the Nigerian Equities market as the week begins with ASI rallying 0.06% to settle at 41,268.01 points on Monday as against 41,244.89 points recorded on Friday. The Market Capitalization (MKT CAP) hit N14.949 trillion in value as against the previous close of ₦14.940 trillion, also representing 0.06 percent growth.

4,699 deals recorded in the day represent an increase of 21.64 percent against 3,863 deals of the previous session
The 450.527 million units of equities traded for the day was 41.08 percent higher than the previous session’s 319.342 million units.
Value of equities traded for the day also increased by 77.42 percent above the previous session’s ₦2.795 billion to settle at ₦4.958 billion.

Market Breadth

It was a perfect, balanced market round up as 19 stocks gained against 19 that lost for the day

PERCENTAGE GAINERS

C&I Leasing led other percentage gainers closing 9.35% above the previous close of N1.39, to settle at N1.52. Consolidated Hallmark Insurance grew 6.25%, Beta Glas grew 4.97% and grew 7.55% ahead other stocks on the chart.

Percentage Losers

Regency Alliance Insurance tops the losers’ chart losing 10.00% of its share price, while Dangote Flour and Eterna both shed 5% each.
The most actively traded stocks of the day is FBNH, trading about 53.617million units of its shares in 367 deals, worth about N670.282 million.
