Nigerian Bourse sheds N60 Billion, as the market records four consecutive red sessions

Thursday’s market capitalisation and All share Index dropped by 0.40 percent bringing the total amount and points lost on Thursday to N60 billion and 165.180 points respectively.

Also, 244.924million units of shares valued at N4.091 billion were traded in 3,803 deals as total deals appreciated by 0.34 percent. Aggregate volume declined by 28.19 percent and total stocks worth also massively declined by 56.06 percent.
Market Breadth

The market showed marginal level of weakness today as the market breadth closed narrowly negative.

%Gainers for the day (22):

Cement Company of North Nigeria (CCNN), VERITASKAP, LASACO and Okomu Oil led other Eighteen percentage price gainers for the day.

%Losers for the day (26):

Niger Insurance, FIDSON and MAY BAKER led other Twenty- three percentage price lossers for the day.

ZENITHBANK emerged the best stocks of the day, recording 79,349,983 units of its shares in 265 deals, valued at N2.184 billion
