It was yet another bearish session on the floor of the Nigerian stock market on Friday as uptrend continues to the delight of investors.
The All Share Index rose by 0.49% to close at 48,459.65 points from the previous close of 48,223.86 points.
The Market Capitalisation was up by 0.49% to close at N26.125 trillion from the previous close of N25.998 trillion, thereby growing N127 billion.
An aggregate of 342 million units of shares were traded in 4,976 deals, valued at N3.856 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 36 equities emerged as gainers against 18 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
OANDO led other gainers with 9.94% growth to close at N5.86 from the previous close of 5.33.
ETERNA OIL, MEYER and WAPCO among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.92%, 9.91% and 9.89% respectively.
Percentage Losers
Academy Press led other price decliners as it shed 10.00% of its share price to close at N1.17from the previous close of N1.30.
RTBRISCOE and Royal Exchange among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 8.62% and 4.95% respectively.
Volume Drivers
Fidelity Bank traded about 47 million units of its shares in 262 deals, valued at about N187 million.
Zenith Bank traded about 40 million units of its shares in 423 deals, valued at N990 million.
ACCESSCORP traded about 21.7 million units of its shares in 203 deals, valued at N212 million.
