Trading activities on the floor of the Nigeria Stock Exchange on Monday closed in red as the All Share Index declined 0.11% closing at 41,172.82 points as against the previous close of 41,218.72 points.
Market capitalisation also declined by 0.11% closing at N14.914 trillion, as against N14.930 trillion of the previous trading session implying a loss of N16 billion
Volume and value of traded stocks both declined 21.94% and 39.25%, closing at 221.4 million units and N2.57 billion respectively.
Market Breadth
21 stocks closed positive while 18 stocks lost, bringing the market breadth to a positive round off.
Percentage Gainers
Eterna Oil led other percentage gainers closing 9.76% above the previous close of N5.74 to settle at N6.3
C&I Leasing grew 5% and Oando grew 4.79% ahead other stocks like AIICO, Mutual Benefit and Transcorp.
Percentage Losers
Unity Bank tops the losers’ chart losing 5% of its share price, while UAC Properties and NPF Microfinance Bank both shed 4.88% and 4.74% respectively.
LASACO has the highest volume of traded stocks, trading about 24.3 million units of its shares while Guaranty Trust Bank has the highest traded value worth about N937.6 million.
