The Nigerian stock market on Tuesday closed on a bearish note as the All Share Index declined by 0.22% to close at 42,317.52 points from the previous close of 42,411.12 points.
The Market Capitalisation declined by 0.22% to close at N22.081 trillion from the previous close of N22.130 trillion, thereby shedding N49 billion.
At the close of trade on Tuesday, an aggregate of 270.09 million units were traded in 3,753 deals, valued at N2.299 billion.
The Market Breadth closed negative as 13 equities emerged as gainers while 18 equities declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
Custodian Investment led other gainers with 9.86% growth, closing at N7.80 from the previous close of N7.10.
Royal Exchange and Meyer Plc among other gainers also grew their share prices by 8.62% and 8.33% respectively.
Percentage Losers
UPDC REIT led other price decliners as it shed 6.67% of its share price to close at N4.20 from the previous close of N4.50.
Japaul Gold and Caverton among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 5.13% and 4.62% respectively

Access Bank traded about 55.04 million units of its share in 142 deals, valued at N497.74 million.
Universal Insurance traded 53.16 million units of its shares in 9 deals, valued at N10.63 million
Unity Bank traded about 25.23 million units of its shares in 92 deals, valued at N11.88 million
