The Nigerian stock market on Monday close bullish as the All Share Index was up by 0.78% to close at 54,224.35 points from the previous close of 53,804.46 points.
The Market Capitalisation grew by 0.78% to close at N29.539 trillion from the previous close of N29.310 trillion, thereby adding N229 billion.
An aggregate of 154.6 million units of shares were traded in 3,095 deals, valued at N5.5 billion.
The Market Breadth closed negative as 14 equities emerged as gainers against 15 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
Conoil led other gainers with 9.93% growth to close at N38.75 from the previous close of 35.25.
CWG, JOHNHOLT and Living Trust Insurance among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.88%, 9.77% and 9.57% respectively.
Percentage Losers
Capital Hotels led other price decliners as it shed 9.42% of its share price to close at N2.50 from the previous close of N2.76.
Vitafoam, CHAMS and NAHCO among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 7.18%, 6.90% and 3.57% respectively.
Volume Drivers
Zenith Bank traded about 30 million units of its shares in 315 deals, valued at N758 million.
GTCO traded about 36.7 million units of its shares in 251 deals, valued at N923.7 million.
WAPCO traded about 5.6 million units of its shares in 102 deals, valued at N144 million.
