The Nigerian stock market on Wednesday close bullish as the All Share Index was up by 0.50% to close at 97,783.81 points from the previous close of 97,296.57 points.
The Market Capitalisation grew by 0.52% to close at N59.275 trillion from the previous close of N58.969 trillion, thereby gaining N306 billion.
An aggregate of 632.7 million units of shares were traded in 8,404 deals, valued at N10.8 billion.
The Market Breadth closed negative as 28 equities emerged as gainers against 29 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
VITAFOAM led other gainers with 9.81% growth to close at N23.50 from the previous close of 21.40.
ARADEL, FTN Cocoa and Sovereign Trust Insurance among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.23%, 7.82% and 6.25% respectively.
Percentage Losers
Prestige Assurance led other price decliners as it shed 10.00% of its share price to close at N0.81 from the previous close of N0.90.
Unilever, AUSTINLAZ and JOHNHOLT among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.97%, 9.96% and 9.90% respectively.
Volume Drivers
FBNH traded about 167 million units of its shares in 296 deals, valued at N4 billion.
HMCALL traded about 119 million units of its shares in 146 deals, valued at N669.8 million.
Guinea Insurance traded about 41 million units of its shares in 113 deals, valued at N20.7 million.
