The Board of Director of Seplat recommended a final dividend of $0.05 per share to shareholders in 2020 financial year. This is subject to approval of shareholders, at the AGM which will be held on 20 May 2021 in Lagos, Nigeria.
The oil firm in its full year audited financial statement for the year end 31 December 2021, reported a turnover of N190.922 billion, down by 10.85% from N214.157 billion reported in 2019.
Seplat declared a loss of N30.712 billion in 2020 financial year against the profit of N85.016 billion reported in 2019. Earnings per share dropped to -N52.19 from the EPS of N144.48.
At the share price of N550, the P.E ratio of Seplat stands at -10.54x with earnings yield of -9.50%.
The Company will hold its AGM at 11:00am on Thursday 20 May 2021 at 16a Temple Road (Olu Holloway), Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria.
