NSEASI Up by 0.02%, Wednesday

Trading activities on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed marginally higher as the All Share Index soared by 0.02% to close at 26,665.73 points against the previous close of 26,660.24 points of yesterday.

Market Capitalisation rose by 0.02% also to close at N12.870 trillion against the previous close of N12.868 trillion, adding just N2 billion.

Aggregate volume and value of traded stocks settled at 232.6 million units and N3.1 billion in 2,831 deals.

Market Breadth

Market Breadth closed negative as 17 stocks gained while 18 stocks lost.

Percentage Gainers

Ikeja Hotel led other gainers with 9.80% growth to close at N1.12 from the previous close of N1.02

Other gainers include: CHAMS, Cadbury and Royal Exchange, all gaining above 7.00% of their share prices ahead of other stocks in the green table.

Percentage Losers

UAC- Property tops the price decliners’ list shedding 10.00% of its share price. Still on the red table are UPDC Real Estate, ARBICO and Corner-Stone Insurance, shedding 9.88%, 9.77% and 8.93% respectively.

Volume Drivers

Access Bank traded about 64 million units of its shares in 194 deals, valued at about N636 million.
