Transactions on the floor of the Nigerian Exchange on Tuesday closed on a positive note again, as the All Share Index appreciated by 0.19% to close at 47,482.73points from the previous close of 47,394.53 points.
Investors gained N48 billion as the Market Capitalisation grew by 0.19% to close at N25.591 trillion from the previous close of N25.543 trillion.
An aggregate of 370.5 million units of shares were traded in 6,045 deals, valued at N7.85 billion.
Market Breadth
The market breadth closed negative as 15 equities appreciated in their share prices against 34 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
SEPLAT led other gainers with 9.99% growth, closing at N945.80 from the previous close of N859.90.
Royal Exchange and COURTVILLE among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.49% and 9.09% respectively.
Percentage Losers
CUTIX led other price decliners as it shed 10.00% of its share price to close at N2.43 from the previous close of N2.70.
LEARNAFRICA and GSPECPLC among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.96% and 9.79% respectively.
Volume Drivers
FCMB traded about 58 million units of its shares in 72 deals, valued at N183.9 million.
Zenith Bank traded 23 million units of its shares in 519 deals, valued at N.4624.7 million.
MTN Nigeria traded about 22 million units of its shares in 253 deals, valued at 4.557 billion.
