The market capitalisation closed at N12.970 trillion, gaining N46 billion from the previous close of N12.924 trillion.
Aggregate volume of traded stocks closed at 239.2 million units, valued at N2.3 billion in 3,585 deals.
Market Breadth
The market breadth closed positive as 21 stocks gained while 12 stocks declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
Cornerstone Insurance with 10% growth led 20 other gainers to close at N0.77 from the previous close of N0.70.
Oando, Flour Mills and Ikeja Hotels among other gainers grew their share prices by 9.89%, 9.85% and 9.62% respectively.
Percentage Losers
CCNN and Jaiz Bank among other price decliners shed their share prices by 10% and 8% respectively.
Volume Drivers
- First Bank of Nigeria Holdings (FBNH) traded about 74.03 million units of its shares in 450 deals, valued at N558.42 million.
