The Board of Nigerian Breweries Plc has appointed Mrs. Olufunmilayo A. Akande as an Independent Non-Executive Director effective the 20th of February 2025, to fill a vacancy on the Board.
Mrs. Akande brings to the Board more than thirty years of experience in auditing, finance, accounting, consulting, corporate governance, and business management amongst others across various sectors including consulting, manufacturing, and oil and gas.
She is currently the Finance Director for Siemens Energy Limited Nigeria as well as the Vice President Finance for the North, West, and Central Africa sub-regions for Siemens Energy. The Company is pleased to have someone with her knowledge and experience join its Board.
