The Nigerian Stock Market resumed the week on downward movement as the All Share Index dropped by o.15% to close at 27,657.27 points below Friday’s close of 27,698.69 points.
Market Capitalisation was down also by 0.16% to close at N13.463 trillion against the previous record of N13.484 trillion, shedding N21 billion.
The aggregate volume and value of traded stocks closed at 109 million units and N888 million in 3,385 deals.
Market Breadth
Market Breadth closed negative as 18 stocks gained while 24 stocks lost.
Percentage Gainers
Trans-nationwide Express and NCR led other gainers with 10.00% growth each to close at N0.77 and N4.95 from the previous close of N0.70 and N4.50 respectively
Eterna Oil grew by 9.09% while CUTIX and Cornerstone Insurance gained 8.97% and 7.69% respectively.
Percentage Losers
PRESCO tops the losers’ table, shedding 9.93% of its share price. Also on the red table are UAC-Property, VITAFOAM and NPF Micro-finance Bank all shedding 9.86%, 9.79% and 9.60% of their share prices ahead of other stocks that declined.
Volume Drivers
FBNH traded about 20 million units of its shares in 343 deals, valued at about N114 million.
