Julius Berger boosts half year profit by 346.31% to N4.76bn

Julius Berger Nigeria Plc has published its financial statement for the period ended 30 June 2021. The report shows year on year growth in the company’s top line and bottom line figures.

A turnover of N146.306 billion was reported for the six months period, up by 43.36% from N102.055 billion reported the previous year.

Profit after tax grew significantly by 346.31% to N4.756 billion from a loss after tax of N1.931 billion reported the previous year.

Earnings per share of the construction giant increased to N2.97 from the EPS of –N1.21, which translates to 346.31% growth, year on year.

At the share price of N24.50, the P.E ratio of Julius Berger stands at 8.24x with earnings yield of 12.13%.
