Market capitalisation closed at N13.214 trillion, gaining N93 billion from the previous close of N13.121 trillion.
Aggregate volume of traded stocks closed at 250.74 million units, valued at N4.17 billion in 4,116 deals.
Market Breadth
The market breadth closed positive as 20 stocks gained, while 13 stocks declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
Courtville with 10% growth led the gainers list, closing at N0.22 form the previous close of N0.20.
UACN and FCMB among other gainers also grew their share prices by 6.67% and 5.00% respectively.
Percentage Losers
Cadbury and Chams Plc led the price decliners’ list, shedding their share prices by 9.71% and 8.70% respectively.
Volume Drivers
Lafarge Africa Plc (WAPCO) traded about 47.15 million units of its shares in 88 deals, valued at N660 million.
MTN Nigeria traded about 12.37 million units of its shares in 165 deals, valued at N1.7 billion.
