Transactions on the floor on the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Tuesday closed on a positive note as the All Share Index grew by 4.92% to settle at 28,909.37 points from the previous close of 27,554.56 points.
Investors gained N708 billion as market capitalization appreciated by 4.92% to settle at N15.110 trillion from the previous close of N14.402 trillion.
An aggregate of 749.47 million units of shares were traded in 8,075 deals, valued at N9.495 billion.

Market Breadth closed positive as 45 stocks gained against 8 stocks that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
Cornerstone Insurance, International Breweries and Presco led other gainers with 10% growth to close at N0.66, N4.29 and 60.50 respectively.
First Bank of Nigeria Holdings, Northern Nigerian Flour Mills and Dangote Cement among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.91%, 9.88% and 9.86% respectively.
Percentage Losers
NPF Microfinance Bank led other price decliners as it shed 8.76% of its share price to close at N1.25 from the previous close of N1.37.
Wapic Insurance, Academy Press and Berger Paint among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 7.69% and 6.90% respectively.
