Four stocks to watch as NSEASI grew 0.58%, Tuesday

For four consecutive trading sessions, trading activities on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange has been on the upward trend. On Tuesday the Nigerian Bourse closed in green as the All Share Index grew further by 0.58% to close at 30,137.53 points from the previous close of 29,964.79 points on Monday.

Market capitalisation grew by 0.58%, closing at N11.239 trillion from the previous close of N11.174 trillion on Monday.

Volume and value of traded stocks grew by 215.29% and 418.05% closing at 300.03 million units and N3.25billion respectively.

Market Breadth

The market breadth for the day closed positive as 21 stocks gained against 13 that lost.

Percentage Gainers

CCNN with 10% growth led other percentage gainers closing N22 against the previous close of N20

Ikeja Hotel, Royal Exchange, and C&I Leasing Plc grew 9.35%, 9.09% and 9.05% respectively among other stocks on the gainers’ list.

Percentage Losers

Newrest ASL Nigeria Plc (AIRSERVICE) tops the losers’ chart, shedding 9.49% of its share price to close at N7.15 from the previous close of N7.90

Veritas Kapital, Neimeth, and First Aluminium also shed 9.09%, 8.57% and 8.33% of their share prices respectively among other stocks on the losers’ chart.

Volume Drivers

Diamond Bank traded about 100.67million units of its shares in 148 deals, valued at N209 million.

Guaranty Trust Bank traded about 39.41million units of its shares in 236 deals, valued at N1.32 billion
