Nigerian Bourse gains N43bn, closes 0.37% higher, Friday

The Nigerian Bourse on Friday closed in green as the All Share Index gained 0.37%, closing at 32,124.94 points as against the previous close of 32,006.65 points on Thursday

Market capitalisation grew by 0.37%, closing at N11.728 trillion as against the previous close ofN11.685 trillion, thereby gaining N43 billion.

The volume and value of traded stocks declined by 31.98% and 40.35% to close at 239.1 million units and N2.85 billion respectively.

Market Breadth

14 stocks gained as against 21 that lost bringing the market breadth to a negative round off.

Percentage Gainers

Access Bank led other percentage gainers, gaining 5.70% to close at N8.35 from the previous close of N7.9

Dangote Flour and Africa Prudential Plc grew 5.45% and 5.31% of their share price respectively among others on the gainers’ chart

Percentage Losers

CCNN and NPF Microfinance Bank both shed 10% of their share prices, leading the percentage losers’ list.

CUTIX, Fidson, Champion Breweries and PZ shed 9.85%, 9.80%, 9.52% and 9.50% respectively among others on the losers’ chart.

Volume Drivers

  • FBNH traded about 35.64 million units of its shares in 340 deals, valued at N274.3 million
