United Capital proposes 50 kobo dividend to shareholders, grew PAT by 14.65%

United Capital Plc released its full year audited financial report for the period ended 31, December, 2019 on Tuesday.

The firm reported a turnover of N8.59 billion, down by 7.21% when compared to the turnover of N9.26 billion reported in 2018.

Profit before Tax (PBT) was down by 20.44% to settle at N4.95 billion from the previous PBT of N6.22 billion in 2018.

Profit after Tax grew by 14.65% to settle at N4.97 billion away from N4.34 billion recorded in 2018.

For the period under review, the Earnings per Share of United Capital stands at 83 kobo, up by 14.65% from the previous Earnings per Share of 72 kobo.

With reference to the share price of N2.93, the P.E ratio of United Capital stands at 3.53x with earnings yield of 28.29%

The firm proposes a final dividend of 50 kobo to shareholders subject to appropriate withholding tax and approval.  Qualification date is March 6, 2019 and Closure date is from 9th to 13th of March, 2020.

Dividend will be paid electronically to shareholders in March 26, 2020.
