United Bank for Africa on Thursday declared an interim dividend of 20 kobo to its shareholders for the period ended, 30 June 2022.
Gross Earnings of N372.047 billion was achieved for the 6 months period, up by 17.99% from N315.326 billion achieved the previous year.
Profit after tax grew year on year by 16.10% to N70.334 billion from N60.581 billion reported in Q2 2021.
Earnings per share of UBA stands at N2.06, up by 16.10 from the EPS of N1.77 achieved the previous year.
At the share price of N7.50, the P/E ratio of UBA stands at 3.65x with earnings yield of 18.90%.
Qualification date for the proposed dividend of 20 kobo is Thursday, September 22, 2022.
The Bank’s Register of Members will be closed on Friday, September 23, 2022 to enable the Registrars prepare for payment of interim dividend.
On Thursday, September 29, 2022, the interim dividend will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at close of business on Thursday, September 22, 2022 and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
