Aggregate volume of traded stocks for the day was 279.62 million units, valued at N2.82 billion in 4836 deals.
Market Breadth
The market breadth closed negative as 21 stocks gained against 26 stocks that lost.
Percentage Gainers
Transcorp with 9.91% growth led other gainers to close at N1.22 from the previous close of N1.11.
Japaul Oil, FCMB and Mobil among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.09%, 5.95% and 5.08% respectively.
Percentage Losers
Afromedia, Academy Press and Law Union & Rock Insurance among other price decliners shed 10%, 9.09% and 8% of their share prices respectively.
Volume Drivers
Dangote Flour traded about 23.64 million units of its shares in 629 deals, valued at about N450 million.
