The Nigerian market stayed afloat on price appreciation in Jaiz Bank, MEYER and other 63 stocks that made the green table on Tuesday, consolidating the successful winning streak that started late last year.
The All Share Index grew 0.46%, closing at 159,951.08 points from the previous close of 159.215.48
Market capitalisation closed at N102.275 trillion up by 0.46% from the previous close of N101.807 trillion, adding N468 billion.

An aggregate of 759 million units of shares were traded in 54,212 deals, valued at N19.9 billion.

The market breadth closed positive as 65 stocks gained against 22 stocks that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers

Jaiz Bank and MEYER led other gainers, closing at 10.00% each above their previous close of N4.80 and N13.00 to N5.28 and N14.30 respectively.
ABC Transport, AUSTINLAZ and Living Trust Insurance also grew above other gainers by 9.98%, 9.94% and 9.94% respectively.

ALEX led decliners’ table shedding 9.96% of its share price to close at N 21.70 from the previous close of N24.10.
LEARNARICA, OANDO and UBA shed 9.16%, 7.69% and 6.22% respectively
