Trading on the floor of the Nigerian stock Exchange last week closed bearish as high cap stocks like SEPLAT, MTN Nigeria as well as other 44 stocks closed lower.
The All Share Index and Market capitalization dipped by 0.33% and 0.31% to settle at 97,506.87 points and N59.107 trillion respectively.
An aggregate of 3.19 billion units of shares were traded in 45,112 deals, valued at N54.85 billion.
The market breadth closed negative as 32 stocks gained against 66 stocks that declined in their share prices.
TOP 10 GAINERS
Sunu Assurance led other gainers in the course of last week with 23.42% growth, closing at N3.90 from the previous close of N3.16.
Haldane McCall (HMCALL), Sovereign Trust Insurance, NASCON and NEIMETH grew their share prices by 21.57%, 15.87%, 13.09%and 11.22% respectively.
Other top 10 gainers include: NCR 9.72%, MECURE 8.53%, FTN COCOA 8.43%, Royal WAPCO 7.41% and VITAFOAM 6.82% respectively.
TOP 10 LOSERS
AUSTINLAZ led other price decliners, shedding 26.32% of its share price to close at N1.96 from the previous close of N2.66.
JOHNHOLT, LASACO, ETERNA and DEAPCAP shed their share prices by 18.91%, 16.47%, 16.13% and 10.17% respectively.
Other price decliners include: UNILEVER (9.97%), MULTIVERSE (9.92%), Secure Electronic Technology (9.82%), Academy Press (9.71%) and Guinea Insurance (9.09%) respectively.
