The Market Capitalisation appreciated by 0.40% to close at N55.601 trillion from the previous close of N55.379 trillion, thereby gaining N222 billion.
An aggregate of 498 million units of shares were traded in 13,149 deals, valued at N11 billion.
The Market Breadth closed negative as 28 equities appreciated in their share prices against 29 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
OANDO led other gainers with 9.95% growth to close at N84.55 from the previous close of N76.90.
IMG and ERTANZACT among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.85% and 9.80% respectively.
Percentage Losers
Livestock Feeds led other price decliners as it shed 10.00% of its share price to close at N2.25 from the previous close of N2.50.
RTBRISCOE and Cornerstone Assurance among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.86% and 9.63% respectively.
Volume Drivers
UBA traded about 55 million units of its shares in 940 deals, valued at about N1.3 billion.
Zenith Bank traded about 40 million units of its shares in 200 deals, valued at N611 million.
OANDO traded about 38 million units of its shares in 1,562 deals, valued at about N3.2 billion.
