The All Share Index appreciated by 0.57% to close at 156,492.36 points from the previous close of 155,613.03 points.
The Market Capitalisation grew by 0.57% to close at N99.938 trillion from the previous close of N99.376 trillion, thereby gaining N562 billion.

An aggregate of 440 million units of shares were traded in 40,245 deals, valued at N25 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 53 equities emerged as gainers against 10 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers

ABC Transport, Mutual Benefits, FTN Cocoa and DEAPCAP led other gainers with 10% growth each above their previous closes.
ALEX and AUSTINLAZ among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.93% and 9.88% respectively.

ABBEYBUILDING led other price decliners as it shed 6.25% of its share price to close at N6.0 from N6.40.
FCMB and SEPLAT among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 5.61% and 3.43% respectively.
