
The Nigerian stock market on Tuesday extended the bullish trend as the All Share Index grew by 1.57% to close at 111,606.22 points from the previous close of 109,884.92 points.
The Market Capitalisation appreciated by 1.57% to close at N70.377 trillion from the previous close of N69.292 trillion, thereby adding N1.085 trillion.
An aggregate of 409.6 million units of shares were traded in 15,992 deals, valued at N9.9 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 36 equities emerged as gainers against 21 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
Airtel Africa led other gainers with 10.00% growth to close at N2372.50 from the previous close of 2156.90.
OMATEK, Cornerstone Insurance and NAHCO among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.23%, 8.63% and 8.39% respectively.
Percentage Losers
MCNICHOLS led other price decliners as it sheds 9.80% of its share price to close at N2.21 from the previous close of N2.45.
CWG and Champion Breweries among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.50% and 7.38% respectively.
Volume Drivers
CUSTODIAN traded about 38 million units of its shares in 97 deals, valued at N752 billion.
Fidelity Bank traded about 37 million units of its shares in 729 deals, valued at N676 million.
Zenith Bank traded about 27 million units of its shares in 768 deals, valued at N1.3 billion.
