It was yet another bullish session on the floor of the Nigerian stock market on Thursday as bullish trend extended to fifth straight session.
The All Share Index grew by 0.19% to close at 142,979.46 points from the previous close of 142,710.48 points.
The Market Capitalisation was up by 0.19% to close at N90.752 trillion from the previous close of N90.581 trillion, thereby adding N171 billion.
An aggregate of 6.2 billion units of shares were traded in 32,682 deals, valued at N54 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 34 equities emerged as gainers against 26 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
PZ led other gainers with 10.00% growth to close at N37.95 from the previous close of 34.50.
ETERNA, Champion Breweries and Tantalizer among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.94%, 9.82% and 5.96% respectively.
Percentage Losers
RTBRISCOE led other price decliners as it shed 9.89% of its share price to close at N3.34 from the previous close of N3.74.
THOMASWYAT and Sovereign Trust Insurance among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.82% and 9.33% respectively.
Volume Drivers
UBA traded about 152 million units of its shares in 1514 deals, valued at N6.5 billion.
Wema Bank traded about 152 million units of its shares in 866 deals, valued at N2.5 billion.
FIRSTHOLDINGCO traded about 112 million units of its shares in 510 deals, valued at N3.5 billion.
